DOVO Solingen Straight Razors are made from carefully selected Swedish carbon steel with a minimum carbon content of 0.6%, in order to achieve the highest degree of hardness, elasticity and resistance to wear. Each razor is honed and stropped before it leaves the factory. It is recommended that all straight razors be stropped prior to first use and before each use. This is the normal process of straight razor shaving and the satisfaction and results it brings.
