Castle Forbes![]() For almost six hundred years, Castle Forbes in the Vale of Alford, Aberdeenshire, has been the seat of Scotland's premier lord, the Chief of Clan Forbes. Occupying an impressive site at the heart of the 6,000-acre Forbes Estate with magnificent views across the river Don, the present castle was built in 1815 by the 17th Lord Forbes and is currently occupied by his great-great-great grandson Malcolm, the Master of Forbes, and his wife Jinny. It is here in the converted former dairy beside Castle Forbes that we find the world's smallest perfumery. The Castle Forbes Collection under the creative, skilled supervision of perfumer Andrew French, and using only the finest natural oils in the classical manner of Haute Parfumerie, has evolved into an exclusive range of top quality products for Canadian Gentlemen looking for an element of distinction and elegance.
